Locks of Love

Local Girl Scout Cadette Troop 3650 organized a hair cutting event on Saturday, June 2, 2007 to support Locks of Love.  Sandy & Macie, from our sister Brownie Troop 1754, donated their hair for the cause.  Sarah from our Daisy troop 4738 got her hair styled to support the cause as well.

Patch Redesign Contest

Our Service Unit Association 70 is hosting a contest for Girl Scouts to design a new patch.  This is open to all Girl Scouts.  Entries must be received before January 10, 2007.  Click here for details.

Nutcracker Performances at a Discount

The Joan Izzo Academy of Dance presents it's annual Nutcracker performance on Saturday December 2, and Sunday December 3 at Dominion High School in Sterling, VA.  Reduced ticket prices for Girl Scouts.  Click here for details.

The Creative Dance Center is also offering the Girl Scouts discounted tickets for their performance of the Nutcracker.  Saturday December 9th and Sunday December 10th at 3 PM at Freedom High School in South Riding, VA.  Click here for details.

Girl Scout Day at the National Aquarium

Baltimore
Sunday, November 5, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Come to the National Aquarium in Baltimore for Girl Scout Day! There will be live animal interactions, a conservation station, marine science career exploration, bird identification in the Rain Forest exhibit and gallery explorations! Girl Scout Expo

An event to share and showcase the Girl Scout experience.  It will be from 9 AM to 6 PM on Saturday, October, 28, 2006 at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, Virginia .  It is open to all with no charge for admission.  Bus transportation from certain areas is available for $5 per person.  Registration is now open.  Pre-registration is recommended as walk-ins will be accepted only on a space-available basis.  Visit http://www.gscnc.org/expo/ to view all of the details.

SU 70-2 Fall Night Out 2006

An evening out for all Girl Scout levels and their VIP (Very Important Person),  Goose Creek Association, Service Unit 70-2.  On Saturday, October 7, 2006 from 6 - 9:30 PM at the Great Country Farms.  Click here for more details.
